Stress, a state of being tensed, fearful, nervous or panic about the things like work, finances, relationships, environment etc. For inner peace and to restore your clam, meditate. Meditation is simple and inexpensive and can be performed anywhere at any point of time. Meditation is considered to be the biggest stress buster today and is proved to be a complementary medicine to your mind.

During meditation you eliminate the stream of mixed thoughts and focus your attention. It gives your relaxation from the notions that are crowding your mind and leave you in stress. Meditation is the clear state of relaxation and a tranquil mind. There are many types of meditation that can be performed for a relaxed mind.

Guided Mediation- This type of meditation include imagery or visualization. You create images or situations in your mind that you find relaxing.

Mantra Meditation- You silently repeat a calming word or phrase in mantra meditation. It eliminates negative thoughts from your mind.

Qi gong- It is traditional Chinese practice which combines meditation, relaxation, physical movement and breathing exercises to maintain balance.

Yoga- Performing yoga is an art. It not only gives you more flexible and fit body but also relaxes your mind. Yoga soothes both, mind and body, when performed correctly.

One just have to choose a method that is comfortable and relaxing to the body and mind. Experiment with the methods and you will find a way that works best for you. Remember, there is no right way or wrong way to do meditation. What matters at the end of the day is to feel better overall.
